I made the next product to go on my Etsy shop today; a Children's beanie hat. I am really happy with how well it has worked out and my knitting skills must be improving as it only took two hours to make. I got the pattern for free on the internet from Lion Brand but adapted it slightly. I chose to use James C. Brett Marble Chunky wool which gives such a lovely variation in colour and it is so soft and warm. However any colour or indeed multiple colours in chunky wool would work for this hat. I am happy to receive requests for customised items and this item could easily be adapted to specific head measurements and taste in colour.
The tools I used were 10mm and 9mm needles, scissors and a wool needle to sew up.
